There were two chapels in the village, both are now private residences.

The first methodist chapel in the village was erected in 1832. Mr William Wray gave the land for the chapel.

The second chapel was built in 1860 and after forty seven years of growth the third building was built in 1907, this is known as Trinity Chapel.

Mrs John Rose Bennett unlocked the door of the new building at it's opening. The dedicatory sermon was preached by the Chariman of the District Rev. Richard Wilton, Norwich. The cost of the present building was £500.
